Comment on Hong Kong My Love

I have visited Claire's blog for several times. I think her blog is quite interesting for me. She wrote many things about her feeling and experience that make me know about her more. I also like her picture that she was looking at doughnuts. It always makes me feel hungry. However, I like bright colors and see many pictures. Therefore, I would like to recommend her to use different colors on her posts and put more pictures on it. Finally, I like her blog and I always check it every time I open my blog.

In the 22nd Century

One hundred later, I think cities will be very busy and full of high building. The world will be dark because of no sunlight anymore. People will go anywhere by using spacecrafts and they eat only food capsules. They will wear clothes that have air condition and heater inside. When the weather changes, the clothes will adjust temperature to suit with the person by itself. In addition, I think people still use computer to control everything such as transportation, communication, and systems in their houses. People may fight to each other to get natural resources because most of them will be run out. Moreover, people will use like number or signal to contact each other that we do not have to say anything.

10 things that I remember about 2008

What did you in 2008??

1. I remember the last orientation of my university in Thailand, Assumption University, it was in a hotel and there were many students went there.

2. I remember the feeling that I just finished the last exam of my undergraduate school. I was so relax, happy, and proud of myself.

3. I remember a street in Singapore where it was very crowdy.

4. I remember the last sentence that my ex-boyfriend talked to me "I'm sorry, but I can't wait for you".

5. I remember the restaurant where I had dinner with my family before I came to Hawaii. It was quiet, romantic, and not crowdy, so I thought I should go for date with some guy. haha

6. I remember the feeling that I had to leave my family and friends to come to Hawaii. It was so lonely and sad.

7. I remember Hua-Hin, one of popular cities in Thailand, where I had trip with my friend.

8. I remember my grandmother voice that she talked with me before I left Thailand. Her voice was so warm and kind.

9. I remember my new dogs' face that I just bought (Siberian Husky). They were so cute and handsome.

10. I remember Jazz festiver which it was very crowdy and noisy.

What were you doing on Dec 26, 2008?

The day after Christmas....

I think everyone who lives in Oahu Island would have the same or similar experience.

On that day, I was in line around 30 minutes to buy some clothes for my aunt and sister. Suddenly, the power was out and I had to go out of the shop. Then I decided to go back home. However, there were too many people on the bus stop and no place for me. Therefore, I changed my mind to walk back my place. Actually, I was frightened but I tried to think that it was new experience for me and I should be enjoy with it. When I got home, I had nothing to do because everything was so dark. So, I just used a light from my cell phone to help me in taking a shower. After that I saw some Thai drama that I had already loaded form the internet. I could see it only about one hour before my labtop was run out of the battery. Then I went to bed.

After this event, I realize that everything in my life depend on electronic. I can do nothing without it. I cannot do my homework, connect with people, and entertain myself. In my opinion, I think people have learned to be with electronic since they were young. Everything was created by using power to run. Moreover, technology have been developing to help people do things much easier. Therefore, they may not be able to live without it anymore.

I got it from one of my best friends on Christmas Day. At that time, I was posting a new post on my blog and she called me to go down from my room. I was very surprise because it was a little bit late at night and I did not think that she would come to see me today. However, she made me was so happy.

My Reason

People always have different reason to go somewhere and do something.

What is your reason to come to Hawaii??

For my reason, I think it is a little bit strange.

Do you see the book that I show?? The title of it is Hanalei. When people talk about Hanalei, it can mean two places which are a taro field and a bay. Both of the places are located in Kauai Island.

I have read this fiction since I was fifteen year old. It is the first fiction that I read and it made me like to read fiction after that. This fiction is a romantic story which are about one Thai guy and one mixed Thai and Hawaiian girl. The guy come to study in Oahu Island and he get a job at travel agency in Kauai after he graduate. For the girl, her father has a pearl farm in Kauai, so she lives there. One day, both of them have chance to meet each other and the climax of the story happen in Hanalei Bay.

After I have read this fiction, I promised with myself that I have to come to Hawaii at least one time in my life. Therefore, when I had to choose a country and city that I would continue my study, I chose Hawaii immediately. However, I already have made my dream come ture. After I finished four sessions ago, I had chance to go there. I was so happy over there and have a good memory about it. It is one of the most beautiful place where I have visited. If you have chance, I really recommend you to go there. I am sure that you will like it :)

What happened??

It is the biggest ferris wheel in the world which is located in Singapore.

On 23 December 08 (the day in Singapore), the ferris wheel had stopped moving for six hour while there were 173 people on the ferris wheel. The reporter reported that it happened because the ferris wheel had some electronic problem. However, everybody were helped with safty. The picture showed how they helped the tourists out of the ferris wheel.

I think it was so terrible. People had to stick in there for six hour. It was too long. If I were the tourist who stuck in it, I will be not impressive with Singapore. Therefore, the company should have something for back up when this kind of problem occur. I know it is very difficult to do that, but they should solve the problem quicker.
